A: You can join MIDAS by looking out for our announcement that applications are open! Follow our Instagram @midas.mag to keep up with open positions and hiring.

Q: When is the next issue coming out?

A: Our 10th issue comes out on April 25th, 2025.

Q: Do you have paid positions?

A: Yes. Positions within the editorial board (i.e. Editor-in-Chief or Creative Director) are stipend positions and staff members (i.e. staff writer, designer or photographer) are one-time paid positions per semester involved.

Q: How can I get a physical copy of the magazine?

A: You can grab our newest edition around UNC Charlotte’s main campus in various revolving locations like Fretwell, Rowe, Atkins Library and Popp-Martin Student Union.

Q: Where is your office located?

A: Our office is located on the Lower Level of the Popp-Martin Student Union, room 049.

Q: Can I join MIDAS without being in a specific department?

A: Yes, aside from our staff positions within departments, we have positions such as media assistant, makeup artist, stylist, hair stylist, which are unpaid, but allow you to get involved without being in a specific department.
